The eternal return of the reflection. What makes the image of reflected light in a puddle seem to constantly return as a modernist motif?  I have a sneaking suspicion that it is because it allows us to turn the monolith into the surface that it is, and play with the depth of an imposing figure with our own boundaries.  Anyhow… Further thoughts??
